Founders Peter Davies and Gordon Wells started Datumbase in 1987 with one employee and the firm belief that PRECISION ENGINEERING requires commitment to accuracy by everyone involved and quality should come built in rather than forced on by inspection departments.

Datumbase with its wide range of Surface Grinding Experience are able to offer accurate Surface grinding of Steel,
Cast Iron, Aluminium, Granite, Polymer Concrete and Carbon fibre.

Datumbase are able to check Surface Flatness with their Wyler Electronic Level to 1 sec of Arc/0.005mm per metre.
